I read somewhere (I’m not sure where) that a good challenge for a preacher would be to write a message every day; one message a day. I’m going to try. I know it’s not going to be easy. If I fail, I fail. If I succeed, glory to God. I got the idea the other day that in order to stay on track for something like this I need some order. So this thought came to me to concentrate on the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew. There’s several chapters, many verses, and many topics. So, I’m taking one verse a day.
